1. Acceptance
​
Accessing or using hebrewverse.online (the “Site”) constitutes tacit acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you are under 16 years old, your parent or legal guardian ("Parents") must complete the signup form for you, before any account is created. Parents and students 16 years old or older ("Students 16+") are the actual account holders; students under 16 years old are service beneficiaries of the accounts held by their Parents.

2. The Service
​

Self-paced, free online programs in Biblical Hebrew (“Online Programs”), to complete in up to 30 days from the start day.

Fully optional voluntary support can be paid only by Parents, or users 16 years old or older, via Stripe and/or Wise.

Support does not unlock any additional nor exclusive service but helps Hebrewverse grow and eventually provide more services for everyone.

Support paid to Hebrewverse is final, non‑refundable and not tax‑deductible.

Hebrewverse Ltd. is not a registered charity; no charitable donation receipt will be issued.

Digital certificates are issued per email to Parents or Students 16+ upon program completion.

Upon program completion, Parents and Students 16+ can request Hebrewverse to re-issue the certificate they received to include the student's full name. Request instructions will be provided in an e-mail upon completion.

Optional subscription to monthly newsletter ("stay up to date") in signup form ("Create Account").

3. Accounts for Children (< 16)

A parent must enter a parent email and verify it.

Support can only be paid by Parents or Students 16 years old or older.

Parents can review and delete their account data (e-mail and password) from the Account Dashboard in the Site or by e‑mailing: privacy@hebrewverse.online; deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.

4. User‑Generated Content (UGC)
​
If an online program invites uploads (text, audio, images):

You grant Hebrewverse Ltd. a non‑exclusive, worldwide licence to store, access and review the UGC for program delivery and potential educational feedback.

Hebrewverse may delete any UGC at any time without notice and without providing reasons for deletion.

The user must own the rights in the UGC and not infringe third‑party intellectual property or privacy.

5. Prohibited Conduct
​
No illegal, hateful, harassing, pornographic, data‑mining, or security‑testing activities. Under‑16 service-beneficiaries must not attempt to bypass any age‑based restrictions especially with regard to the signup form and the options to support Hebrewverse. We reserve the absolute right to suspend, block, or delete any member account at any time— with or without notice, and for any reason or no reason— including if we believe such action is in the best interest of the community, compliance with law, or the security of the Site.

6. Public‑Domain Licence

Public‑domain dedication. All learning resources produced by Hebrewverse Ltd. are in the public domain under the Creative Commons CC-0 universal waiver. What that means for you — total freedom:​

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Trademarks. The trade name “Hebrewverse” and associated logos remain the exclusive trademarks of Hebrewverse Ltd. and are not part of the CC‑0 dedication.

7. Voluntary Support & Taxes
​

Voluntary Support is a discretionary gift/gratuity that does not unlock any exclusive content or features and may be given even if you never use any of the free services of Hebrewverse Ltd. All support is final and non‑refundable.

Currency. Support is normally processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). For your convenience, Stripe and Wise may display an approximate amount in your local currency and your card issuer may apply its own foreign‑exchange fees. The amount shown at checkout is the authoritative figure.

Chargebacks. Initiating an unwarranted or bad‑faith chargeback constitutes a material breach of these Terms. You agree to reimburse Hebrewverse Ltd. for any reversal fees and related costs we incur.

Right to refuse or void tips. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to decline, cancel or refund any support we consider unauthorized, fraudulent, abusive, or simply unnecessary; we are under no obligation to state a reason for doing so.

Evidence logs. We retain transaction metadata (including IP address, consent timestamp and payment identifier) for at least 18 months and may use it as evidence to contest disputes or chargebacks

Cardholder warranty & indemnity. By financially supporting Hebrewverse you warrant that you are the lawful holder of the payment method used and agree to indemnify and hold Hebrewverse  harmless from any claim, loss or cost arising out of unauthorized or fraudulent use of that method. All support is normally processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). For your convenience, Wise or Stripe may display an approximate amount in your local currency and your card issuer may apply its own foreign‑exchange fees. The amount shown at checkout is the authoritative figure. If, at our sole discretion, we choose to issue a goodwill refund, the refund will cover only the amount we actually received, excluding any non‑refundable processing fees withheld by Stripe or Wise. Hebrewverse Ltd. is not a registered charity; no charitable donation receipt will be issued, and support confers no tax deduction.

Hebrewverse Ltd. is a small supplier under Canada’s Excise Tax Act; GST/HST is not currently charged.

Applicable foreign sales/VAT taxes (e.g., EU VAT) are calculated at checkout and remitted via Wise or Stripe. In most countries, no taxes at all are applicable on gratuities.

8. Third‑Party Services

Payments: Stripe, Inc. / Wise Payments Limited Site hosting & analytics: Wix.com Ltd. Social embeds: Facebook, Instagram. Interactive modules: Educaplay. Use of the Site signifies agreement to their separate terms.

9. Disclaimer
​
Online Programs are provided “as‑is” without warranties. Learning outcomes vary; Hebrewverse Ltd. is not liable for loss of data, profits or opportunity.

10. Liability Cap
​
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hebrewverse’s total liability for any claim is limited the greater of (a) the support you paid in the previous 12 months or (b) CA $100.

11. Dispute Resolution
​

Forum & Limit: Individual claims only, filed exclusively in the Small Claims Court of Hamilton (Ontario) up to the court’s monetary jurisdiction (currently CA $35 000, rising to CA $50 000 on 1 Oct 2025).

No arbitration and no class, collective or representative actions.

Cost awards limited to the statutory cap (15 % of the claim) plus disbursements.

Governing law: Province of Ontario, Canada.

12. Modifications
​
We may revise these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes are e‑mailed to registered account holders and posted on the Site 15 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date— or failure to close your account during the notice period— constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Privacy Policy.
